SUMMARY

A payment processing fee of 2.5% applies for all Visa, MasterCard and American Express payments. A payment processing fee of 3% applies for all Paypal payments.

  • A payment processing fee of 2.5% applies for all Visa, MasterCard and American Express payments for NEW bookings made on or after the 1st September 2017.

  • For PayPal transactions, a fee of 3% applies

  • It does not apply to bookings made prior to this date.

What if I don’t want to pay the fee?

You're welcome to use direct bank transfer within 24 hours of making a booking and, at least 7 days before arrival or, cancel your booking within 24 hours of making it at no fee


PAYING BY DIRECT BANK TRANSFER

Guests are welcome to transfer funds within 24 hours of making a booking into our bank account. Once complete please email a screenshot to help@apartmentsofmelbourne.com.au.

INTERNAL PROCESS
Confirming a BANK TRANSFER payment has been received:
Load a support ticket and assign to Corporate Services
A screenshot will be supplied by Corporate Services and reassigned to the team to process once the payment has cleared

Recording the payment:
Once confirmed, record the payment in the folio using payment code BANK TRANSFER

Making payment for the credit card booking fee:
This can be done by any team member but must be done prior to checkout. Open the booking, go to folio, go to ADD Payment, click on the payment method, add payment and process.

Voiding the credit card booking fee:
This applies to expedia or agoda bookings as their rates already include this fee;
Go to booking, go to folio, go to adjust charge, select CREDIT CARD PAYMENT FEE within the taxes and fees drop down menu as the charge type to credit, enter the amount and submit
