AGODA BOOKINGS NEW PREPAYMENT PROGRAM

UPC Plus Under ePass

Collins St & Northbank have joined the AGP prepayment program where Agoda prepays for 12 months of expected bookings.

Instead of charging many virtual cards, each booking will deduct off the prepaid amount like on a bank statement. Any previous uncharged UPC cards have been cancelled and moved into the Epass>Current Transactions section in the YCS ready for the Support team to charge. We are now able to click and combine multiple bookings and generate one card. This can be done on the new “Current Transactions” tab.

Overview

Agoda has several payment systems that fall into two main categories:

1. Unique Payment Card Standard (UPC): provides a different credit card number for each booking - old process for charging bookings

2. ePass: an Electronic Payment Administration Self Service platform for accommodation partners that lets partner view and batch bookings for payments - new process for charging bookings

What is ePass?

ePass is an Electronic Payment Administration Self Service platform with offers the following features:

-          Manage payment transactions for accommodation partners

-          Automated invoicing and dispute system for hotel partners

      -          Various payment options such as bank transfer, plastic credit card payment and UPC via ePass for AOPP

 

I. YCS PROCESS FOR BOOKINGS MADE BEFORE JULY 25, 2018

Step 1: Load Booking in Cloudbeds

(Using Collins as example)

 


Step2: Log in to YCS
-Choose your location

Step 3: Select “ePass” – Current Transactions



Step 4: Tick the check box to approve the transaction, then click “Next”.



Step 5: Click on Submit




Step 6: Copy the card details to Cloudbeds, then click ok




Step 7: Process payment, as usual, using the card info from Step 6



II. FOR BOOKINGS MADE AFTER JULY 25, 2018

Step 1: Load Booking in Cloudbeds

(Using Collins as example)



Step2: Log in to YCS
-Choose your location



Step 3: Select “ePass” – Advance Guarantee Transactions



Step 4: If guest name is appearing on the Transaction Contract ID, this means that this is already paid by Agoda – usually appears on checkout date.



Step 5: On Cloudbeds, Add payment, payment type – Third Party Payment


Note: YCS don't update during weekends. Therefore, information for check outs on a weekend will be available for processing starting Monday. 

Onsite team procedure:
1.  When checking out guests during the weekend, load a support ticket with the booking details to ensure Cloudbeds payment processing on Monday.

 View past payment and UPC details

The remittance page displays transactions that have been approved for payments. Check this to track all processed payments.
